Toyota Australia launched a special edition model of the Toyota Land Cruiser Altitude in Australia, which is based out of Land Cruiser GXL diesel. Land Cruiser 200 Series Altitude get additional features include 18-inch alloy wheels (including a full-size alloy spare), roof rails, leather interior with black accents, steering wheel and gearshift knob luxury, electric front seats, and a cooler box.
There are five color options are offered; Shimmer, Graphite, Silver Pearl, Eclipse Black and Crystal Pearl - two recent color previously only available for the VX and Sahara are more expensive.
Altitude special edition Land Cruiser uses the same engine as GXL variant, the diesel 4.5 liters V8 diesel engine that produces maximum power 195kW/650Nm. This engine is paired gearbox 6-speed automatic transmission that sends engine power to all wheels all the time.
Land Cruiser sales in Australia rose by almost 37% this year from 4.729 units to 46.473 units. SUV holds 76.3% market share in its class.
