Toyota Avanza maintain the predicate as the best in the MPV category in the Indonesian Best Brand Award 2012. Award from SWA magazine, MARS, and Metro TV with this SWANETWORK once answered achievement Toyota Avanza as a market leader in the MPV segment and the backbone of Toyota's sales.
From January to August 2012, Toyota Avanza posted sales of 125.217 units and controls 51,2% market share in its class. When compared with the same period last year, sales of Toyota Avanza up 12,2% or 13.567 units.
General Manager of Corporate Planning & Public Relations PT. Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), Widyawati Soedigdo, said Toyota is always working to provide products and services to customers. "Getting a positive appreciation of the various parties, one of them through this IBBA award, an honor for us. Moreover, the Toyota Avanza managed to retain the title of best MPV for 2 years in a row." she said.
Toyota Avanza MPV achieved the best on this IBBA award after a 2600 survey of loyal customers in seven cities, namely Jakarta, Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, Semarang, and Banjarmasin.
Award today complements a series of awards received by Toyota in 2012. Previously, Toyota has received 6 prestigious awards as well as in Indonesia Car Lifestyle Award (ICLA) 2012 and the Top Brand for three products, namely the Toyota Yaris, Toyota Kijang Innova and Toyota Avanza from Frontier Consulting Group in collaboration with Marketing magazine.
