For the automotive sector, Toyota managed to maintain itself as the most profitable automotive brand with a brand value of US$ 30.280 million. With that result, Toyota is in the top 10 in the list of Top 100 Interbrand's 2012 Best Global Brands. The top three was Coca-Cola, Apple and IBM.
Luxury car brands like Mercedes-Benz and BMW are under Toyota because each brand has only German brand value of US$ 30.097 million and US$ 29.052 million in positions 11 and 12.
